There are many different types of companies in the world that can be registered and this applies to everywhere and not just in Thailand. For example in the UK most companies are a PLC which is known as a public limited company. Company registration in Thailand is usually for a limited company in some area and you can always tell a foreign based company as it will have a ‘(Thailand)’ prefix after the company name. This is to signify this is the Thai branch and that the company has offices elsewhere in the world.

Marriage is a very sacred pact between a man and a woman who love each other dearly and it is considered in the West as a very important ceremony and the union between two married people is very important and should never be broken. In Thailand those who have a marriage in Thailand can expect no less. Sure there are stories about sham marriages or about women marrying men for their money but these are the stories you hear about and the ones that you do not hear about, regarding marriage in Thailand are usually from those who are happily and blissfully married. Marriage in Thailand is still very important religiously also and there is the full Thai wedding ceremony or you can have the more civil ceremony where you are registered at an office.

Thailand has one of the most of Asia’s most successful economies in terms of GDP and between 2000 – 2008 the country managed a four percent growth which is nothing to be sneezed at and is quite an achievement considering Thailand is still classed to many and in the eyes of many as a developing country. The growth cannot be put down to one single thing but surely the amount of foreign investment played a major part.
