The UK Visa Application Centre is run and managed by VFS (Thailand) Ltd. A service charge of 425 THB plus 7% VAT is payable per passport. Credit cards are not accepted.

Please note there is no change in UK Immigration Rules. All applications will be assessed on their merits in accordance with British legislation and policy. Decisions about the outcome of visa applications remains with the British Embassy, Bangkok.

The UK Visa application Centre is responsible for accepting applications, collecting visa application charges, service charges, courier charges ( if applicable ) and returning passports to applicants

Applicants must be in the country at the time of application.

NOTE: • From 25th August 2006, multiple entry/ business visit visas will be issued for a period of 6 months or 2 years only, unless a person already holds a previously issued 5 year visit visa. The British Embassy in Bangkok will no longer be issuing 5 year or 10 year multiple entry visit/business visit visas until further notice, due to the introduction of biometrics. • Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. • Fees are payable in Thai Baht and are subject to periodic review. • The fee is charged to cover the cost of processing an application. If an application is refused, the fee is not refundable. • No cashier' cheque or manager' cheque or personal cheque is accepted for paying the visa fees, the service charges or the courier charges. • Fees should be paid in Baht in the form of a Banker's draft ONLY, made payable to the 'British Embassy Bangkok'.
